Terms of Use & Disclaimer

Last updated: June 21, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of nicolacircellilaw.com(the “Site”), operated by Nicola Circelli Law(“we,” “us,” or “the firm”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. No legal advice

The information on this Site — including all pages describing practice areas, the news and commentary, frequently asked questions, and any response from the on-site AI assistant — is provided for general information only. It is not legal advice, is not a substitute for advice from a qualified lawyer, and should not be relied upon for any specific matter. Laws change and apply differently to every situation; you should obtain advice tailored to your circumstances before acting.

2. No lawyer–client relationship

Using the Site, submitting the contact form, interacting with the AI assistant, or otherwise contacting the firm does not create a lawyer–client (solicitor–client) relationship. A lawyer–client relationship is formed only when we have completed a conflict check, agreed to act for you, and entered into a signed retainer agreement.

Until a retainer is in place, please do not send us confidential, time-sensitive, or privileged information. Information you send before we agree to act for you may not be treated as confidential and may not be protected by solicitor–client privilege.

3. No guarantee of results

Every case is different, and prior results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any future matter. Nothing on this Site is a promise or guarantee about the outcome of your matter.

4. The AI assistant

The Site offers an automated assistant that shares general legal information and can help you request a consultation. It is not a lawyer, does not provide legal advice, and may produce information that is incomplete or inaccurate. Do not rely on it for decisions about your matter, and do not enter confidential or sensitive details. Always confirm important information with the firm directly.

5. Accuracy and availability

We try to keep the Site accurate and up to date, but we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Site or its content. The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time without notice.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nicola Circelli Law and its lawyer, staff, and agents will not be liable for any loss or damage — including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — arising out of or in connection with your access to, use of, or inability to use the Site, or your reliance on any information on it. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Site is to stop using it.

7. Intellectual property

The content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, and the firm's name, is owned by or licensed to Nicola Circelli Law and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and print content for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, or distribute it for any other purpose without our prior written permission.

8. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, such as news articles or external resources, provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those websites, and a link does not imply our endorsement.

9. Communications and confidentiality

Communications sent through the Internet, including email and the contact form, are not guaranteed to be secure or confidential. Do not use the Site to send anything you would not want intercepted or disclosed. For sensitive matters, please contact us by telephone to arrange a confidential discussion.

10. Jurisdiction and authorized practice

Nicola Circelli is licensed to practise law in Ontario, Canada, and is regulated by the Law Society of Ontario. The Site is intended for people seeking information about legal services in Ontario. It is not an offer to represent you in any jurisdiction where the firm is not authorized to practise. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable there, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and handle personal information.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent changes, and your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
