Nicola gained experience in research and advocacy from participating in the 2013 International Criminal Law Trial Competition in The Netherlands. After moving back to Canada, Nicola worked at a prominent law firm in Toronto. There she gained invaluable on-the-job training in criminal defence law.
After completing the National Committee on Accreditation exams, Nicola articled with Circelli Law, and once called to the Bar of Ontario in 2016 joined the firm as an Associate. During her time as an Associate she appeared at all levels of Court within the Province of Ontario and successfully defended clients at trial.
