London Free Press, 2026
The London Free Press reported that Feiyang (Astrid) Ji, one of four people charged in the Chesham Place investigation, was released on bail on a $500 recognizance following her bail hearing.
According to the reporting, the charges in the case include unlawful possession of explosives, possessing a prohibited firearm, possessing a loaded firearm at the residence, and manufacturing a prohibited firearm.
The matter stems from a January 24, 2026 investigation by London Police that began with an overnight trespassing call at Western University and led officers to a home on Chesham Place in London's University Heights neighbourhood. Four people were charged; everyone charged is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
