Accused in London explosives investigation makes brief court appearance
London Free Press, 2026
The London Free Press reported that one of the accused in the Chesham Place case made a brief court appearance as the matter was adjourned to a future date.
Early appearances in a criminal matter are often short and procedural — the case is remanded while disclosure is reviewed, counsel is retained, and next steps such as a bail hearing are scheduled.
The matter stems from a January 24, 2026 investigation by London Police that began with an overnight trespassing call at Western University and led officers to a home on Chesham Place in London's University Heights neighbourhood. Four people were charged; everyone charged is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
